We will be looking at Van Gogh’s Irises, a piece that was created out of his pain. We will use our fabric like Van Gogh used his oil paints on canvas.
Come with your heart and mind open to creativity. We don’t want to copy his work but utilize it as an inspiration to create our very own “Irises.” We will be using the parchment pressing technique. This piece can be completed in the time offered or very close to it. Techniques for completing this art quilt will also be discussed.
